Happy Cinco de Mayo! To celebrate this delicious day, myself and Que Pasa Foods teamed up to offer one lucky Culinary Cool reader a Mexican prize pack.
It was always a special night when mom made tacos for dinner. I would pile mine high with cheddar cheese, and a generous dollop of sour cream. Now that I’m all grown up (or at least I like to think I am), I like to throw a wrench into the regular taco routine. With 2016 being the International Year of Pulses, try using lentils in place of the ground beef. While your at it, crumble some salty feta over your taco instead of cheddar, and drizzle with a spicy Sriracha sauce.
